Features :
Rice cakes at Wang-Ta are made from sticky rice, lean pork, dry shrimp, wei-su and some homemade seasonings. All ingredients are stuffed into little aluminum containers to steam. This is why the rice cakes made are chewy with appealing aromas. Because of its unique taste, the store has been operating for nearly seventy years and is still very popular. For all gourmets, you should try the most popular set menu in the store, which include the signature rice cake, soy flavored eggs and meat porridge soup. You will surely fall in love with this traditional gourmet piece.

Introduction :
You cannot said that you have been to Ching-Shui if you have only visited the ancient streets, toured the area, but have yet tried the rice cake with the meat porridge soup. Wang-Ta does not have a fancy store front, but the place is still always packed with people. It is hard to get seats during meal hours. People waiting in a long line often make an unusual scene in the neighborhood. The store is famous and well known for its unique and one of a kind flavor for almost seventy years. There are imitators in the area that tried to make rice cakes, however, people can always find their way to Wang-Ta for the place is constantly packed with crowds. Word of mouth from locals and tourists also made this place well known in the region.
