Wu-Chi fishermen's wharf has been very successful because of its diverse operation and its close connections with the local people's daily life. The place is also the best place for water front leisure and seafood tasting. Beside seascape, recreational dock in the area; facilities like fresh fish zone, food court, seaport market and Alaska sea world are also included. The place is usually packed with people over weekends because of the fresh fish selling, and also the numerous snack and food stands outside of the fish market. Gourmets are often attached to the place. The place is currently featuring " Big Blue Journey " cruise ship for tourists.

Introduction :
Food court and the fresh fish zone inside the wharf are the best place for you after touring around or feel a sense of hunger. You can find jumbo shrimps, life crab, fresh made fish soup, bake squid, salty crispy oyster, oyster soup and other local gourmet dishes, which fire your appetite. You can also find cuttlefish soup, sashimi, deep fried oyster, fish eggs, iron-shelled raw oysters, cuttlefish, tofu and other dishes. You name it, they have it, this is the best place where you can get all the seafood you want all at ONE place.

Transportation:
By Bus :
Take Wu-Chi bus route from Kan-Chen bus station in Taichung and get off at Wu-Chi Stop. Or take the Feng-Yuan Transportation bus to Wu-Chi and get off at Wu-Chi Stop. Or, you can take the Feng-Yuan Transportation bus, which goes toward Taichung Seaport or Wu-Chi, and get off at the Wharf Affair Office Stop. If you take the bus that goes from Feng-Yuen to Taichung , get off at the Wu-Chi Stop.

By Car :
1.From Chung-shan Highway :
(1) Get off at Feng-Yuan Exit. Turn on route 10 to connect to route 10 Z. Make a left at route 17 and then you will get to the Taichung seaport area. The entire journey is approximately 22.2 KM and you will pass Ta-Ya, Ching-Shui and Wen-Tzi-Liao on your way.
(2) Exit Taichung (Chung-Gun) Exit and get on route 12 (West). Turn right on Ling-Kun Road (Go North) and you will see the sea wharf. You will pass by Sa-Lu, Wu-Chi and the total journey for the trip is about 18.5 KM.
(3) Get onto highway 4 and drive in the direction towards the Ching Shui. Drive all the way to the end of highway 4. At the end of highway 4, you will get onto route 17 and the store is on highway 17. It is approximately 75 KM after you get off the ramp on highway 1.

2.Take National Highway 3 and take Hsiang-Shan Exit. Get on Westside Highway (Route 61) to Pai-Sa-Toon, turn on route 1 and turn right on route 17. The journey is approximately 75 KM and you will pass Tong-Shao, Ta-Chia-Tao-Chia-Nan on your way.
